Роспотребнадзор проверил воздух в Энгельсе
Специалисты отобрали пробы воздуха в трех точках жилой зоны и не выявили превышений.

В Саратовской области control over atmospheric air quality in Engels resumed after reports of smoldering at a solid waste landfill. The regional Rospotrebnadzor administration, together with the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, conducted an inspection of the air in residential areas of the city.
Sampling took place on August 11, 2026, from 07:00 to 09:30 at three points in the residential zone of Engels. The reason for the monitoring was single foci of smoldering at the landfill of JSC «Citymatic» (Saratov branch), located in Engels.
Laboratory tests of the collected air samples for pollutants showed that all parameters comply with hygienic standards. No exceedances of maximum permissible concentrations were detected.
The situation remains under the control of the regional Rospotrebnadzor administration. Specialists continue to monitor the state of atmospheric air in the area of the landfill.
